This is a picture of a typical Slovenian pastry called Kremna Rezina, sort of a custard cream cake, topped by filo leaves and powdered sugar. It is served at the lakeside resort of Bled, a beautiful location with an island church in the middle of a lake, towered over by a fairytale castle. Schweppes bitter lemon optional (I washed mine down with Laska Pivo - the local brew!)

Had my cake....and I 'et' it too!

Trying to see if I can actually leave a comment this time. Did you go to Okarina, too?
I went to Slovenia last year for a day at the water fun park there. Think i had the same pivo that you did. Nice countryside. Going to Croatia next?

Not really sure what Okarina is, so I guess the answer is no. Curious to see how different your photos look from mine...
